i felt so many kinds of emotions with this story..
i cried a little (well...actually a lot!)

it made me think of my high school life back in my home country and what would i have felt if i finished my high school there before i left for england
i can relate with this story so.much..being afraid of changes and leaving things and people that i am used to have in my life before
but like you said in the story..we have to take risks cos..just maybe....something far better are waiting for us..but some things are meant to stay the same
and some people are meant to stay being constant in our life..

and i agree that life is a learning process :)
